KOSMONOVA{ Michael Nehrig }

Zacznę od tego, że dotychczas Kosmonova miał kilka wielkich hitów na listach przebojów całej Europy. Jego kariera od kilku lat ma wymiar światowy. Ten utalentowany 30 latek z miasta Krefeld w Niemczech każdego weekendu mixuje płyty w innym miejscu świata - a to w gdzieś w Rosji, Hiszpanii, Anglii czy w jakimś azjatyckim kraju. Sporo swego czasu poświęca na produkowanie nowych nagrań w swoim studio, a właściwie czterech różnych studiach. Z tej studyjnej pracy stworzona została obszerna dyskografia Kosmonovy czyli niezliczona ilość remixów oraz ponad dwanaście różnych projektów muzycznych / płytowych.

Pierwszym singlem Kosmonovy było nagranie zatytułowane `RAUM PATROUILLE" wydane w 1996 roku. W roku 1997 sukcesem okazała się jego produkcja AYLA zatytułowana "TAKE ME AWAY". Kolejnym sukcesem w 1998 roku okazała się produkcja dla CELEBRATE zatytułowana "SINGIN` IN MY MIND". Udział w tym nagraniu wzięła rewelacyjna wokalistka z grupy CULTUREBEAT - TANYA EVANS.

W 1998 roku ukazał się pierwszy album Kosmonovy zatytułowany "SUPERNOVA".
W 1999 roku listy przebojów dance / techno odwiedziło kolejne nagranie Kosmonovy zatytułowane "ACID FOLK 2000". Rok 2000 z kolei to przebój "DICOVER THE WORLD".

W roku 2001 przebojem stało się nagranie "THE DAYDREAM" dokonane w jednym z dwóch super nowoczesnych studiów Kosmonovy w miejscowości Braunschweig w Niemczech.

Kosmonova mixował także hity dla: DJ INTERACTIVE, QUICKSILVER, VERON, NOEMI, BOSSI, NORMAN BASS.

Well, what can you say? Nine singles - nine chartbreakers (!) with every single topping the previous – KOSMONOVA’s list of success grows bigger and bigger and there’s no end in sight !!!

By now, KOSMONOVA’s fabulous career as a DJ has led him around the world. His weekends are still ruled by bookings from Spain to Russia and England to Asia. The 30 year-old from Krefeld, Germany, spends the rest of his time as creative producer in the studio. (Meanwhile it is four studios) Besides countless remixes and several side projects (12 acts by now), KOSMONOVA is the focus of Michael’s attention. Joined by his co-producer Andreas Schneider he delivered one hit after another in the recent years. There’s no doubt, you can’t imagine the German dance music scene without KOSMONOVA a.k.a. Michael Nehrig. He released nine singles and nine consecutive Media Control chart hits.

Everything began for him at the dawn of 1996 with the single RAUM PATROUILLE, which meant the first chart success. This was followed in 1997 by the club anthems AYLA, TAKE ME AWAY  and 1998 with CELEBRATE. His hit single SINGIN’ IN MY MIND featured the famous singer TANIA EVANS, who enjoys international popularity as former voice of CULTUREBEAT.  In the following of this production he became one of Germany’s most wanted dance music act.In late 1998 his first album SUPERNOVA entered the racks of the stores. Apart from all hit singles, SUPERNOVA features lots of new sounds. A long player which was approved not only by club oriented listeners but also by lovers of pop music with a dance feeling. KOSMONOVA kept the pace with the track ACID FOLK 2000 in 1999. One year later, in 2000, he released DANCE AVEC MOI ! and had his biggest chart success up to now, entering the TOP 20 of the Media Control Charts on number 16! DICOVER THE WORLD was the name of KOSMONOVA’s second hit in the year 2000 and went right into the MCC as well. 2001 saw Michael acquiring 2 new studios (the 2 biggest studios in Braunschweig), where he wrote the hit THE DAYDREAM. The new album is ready to be released in 2002, a single being in working progress. Now or never!

Additionally lots of remixes were produced for renowned artists as DJ INTERACTIVE, QUICKSILVER, VERON, NOEMI, BOSSI, NORMAN BASS and many more.

KOSMONOVA – Hi  Folks, three Questions in one is too much for me, but I try to answer it is special for you
- when and where did it really start

I start my career very early, in the year 1988. In the smooth age about 18

- how long have you been a deejay ?

So that means I work 15 years in our business.

Y@HU - Tell me something (as much as possible) about the deejays you

know / you've met in your career ?

KOSMONOVA – I Know about a lot of Dj`s. But everyDJ has his own story, makes his own thing.

Y@HU - Tell me about most exciting moments in / about your deejay / producer career ?

KOSMONOVA – I made my most exiting experience as a DJ in the Switzerland. I played there for 24.ooo people, as a producer, when I work with or for other big stars for example Michael Jackson.

Y@HU - Can you tell anything interesting about music artists you know or met ?

KOSMONOVA – No, I can´t, because I don´t speak about persons if they don´t where here.

Y@HU - Have you ever done something else or is DJ'ing your life ?

KOSMONOVA – Yes, I started to wor
